Learn the basics of electronic textiles- conductive threads, LEDs, batteries and fiber optic cables while creating fashion accessories that light up, blink, respond to sound and more. Be prepared to sew, fuse fabric, and create parallel circuits using cloth and other fibers. All materials provided.

Weaving Classes at Slater Mill, Pawtucket, RI
Weaving Studio is a 10-week class for all levels, on one of Slater Mill’s floor looms. Whether a beginner or experienced weaver, the Studio seeks to advance each student’s skills and techniques. All aspects of handweaving will be covered: project planning, dressing the loom, reading a draft, rhythm and individual weaving techniques, and finishing.
