Welcome to Real Fibers Handweaving Studio,

Welcome to the work of Suzi Ballenger, weaver/instructor, and proprietor of RealFibers Handwoven and Main Street Rugs.

The studio is home to 4 floor looms and walls filled with sunlight and cones of unique, sustainable fibers with multiple colors of bamboo, natural linens, fine paper threads (yes, paper), pineapple, silk, wool, alpaca, and even copper and stainless steel.

Located in the historic coastal village of Wakefield, RI, the studio is open for private lessons and by appointment or chance.
